K’Taka: No need for a Covid report for Maha passengers

Bengaluru: Passengers who come from Maharashtra to Karnataka do not need to carry a negative RT-PCR report Covid-19 for further, the health welfare department and the state family say on Friday in circular.
However, the Department official said the mandate for the production of negative reports by travelers from Goa and Kerala will continue until further orders.
As reported by the previous TOI, the Covid-19 State Technical Advisory Committee has recommended the government to get rid of the Mandatory Negative Covid RT-PCR report for Maharashtra passengers.
However, the norm for the production of the second dose vaccination certificate will continue with strict enforcement, said TK Anil Kumar, the main secretary, health and family welfare department.
