Bengaluru: Karnataka became the first country to issue orders to implement national education policies, 2020 with the effects of the academic year 2021-2022.
The Minister of Higher Education Ashwath Narayan announced this after holding a meeting with the Ministry of Education and the State Higher Education Department official on Saturday.
Implementation will be carried out according to the NEP guidelines, the Minister said.
In accordance with that, students will have the flexibility to pursue a bachelor’s degree or a four-year honor, among others.
