Bengaluru: Karnataka government on Saturday decided to lift the curfew at night and start regular classes for grades 1 to 9 from 31 January.
Also decided to continue with the RT-PCR test mandatory for passengers coming from Maharashtra, Kerala and Goa.
“There will be no curfew the night from January 31.
Perkaluan mushroom night has been lifted,” Karnataka Revenue Minister R Ashoka directing reporters after a high level meeting with experts and officials, led by Chief Minister Basavara Basavai.
Primary and Secondary Education Minister BC Nagesh, who accompanied Ashoka, said all schools will be open from 31 January.
“School of One (Class 1) Standard Ninth (Class 9) are closed because of Third Wave Covid-19.
From Monday, all classes will be open.
Everyone must follow the appropriate behavior covid as recommended by experts,” said Nagesh.
He explained that if there is a positive test Coronavirus in class, that particular class will remain closed and each child will undergo tests but the school will function as usual.
Nagesh said deputy District Commissioner concerned will decide how long the class should remain closed.
According to Ashoka, the other decisions taken at the meeting was that public transport vehicles will receive appropriate passenger seating capacity.
The government allows pubs, bars, restaurants and hotels to remain open fully and allow penghunungan 100 percent.
However, only 50 percent of occupancy will be allowed in the room cinema, multiplex, swimming pools, gyms, sports complexes and stadia.
For a wedding, 300 people would be allowed to gather in the open space and 200 people in a confined space.
Similarly, the office will now have 100 percent occupancy.
The government also allows all kinds of services in religious places.
However, only 50 percent of capacity on religious places will continue.
Exhibitions, demonstrations, sit-down demonstration, protest, social gatherings and religious gatherings have been banned.
Given the increasing cases of Covid-19 in the state, the government has imposed a curfew pavement including night and weekend curfew of 4.
Because of hospitalizations and deaths is far less than the first and second waves of Covid-19, the government decided to facilitate the sidewalk, said officials.
According to the State Health Minister, Dr K Sudhakar, the overall hospitalization on Friday was 1.9 percent.

5477 people from the 2.88 lakh active cases were hospitalized.
