Bengaluru: Karnataka reported 236 new Covid-19 cases on Sunday, where 152 came from Bengaluru Urban.
With this, the total number of active cases in the state reached 7,997.
Release (264) continues to exceed the number of new cases.
Two Covid deaths were reported, both in Bengaluru.
The deceased is two women – aged 73 years and others, 90.
While the former died in a private hospital, the last died at home.
Dakshina Kannada and Hassan respectively reported 11 cases, Mysuru saw 10, each Bengaluru Rural 9 and Udupi and Uttara Kannada 6.
Thirteen of 30 districts did not report a new case.
Bengaluru Urban reported 187 disposal, Mysuru 15 and Tumakuru 10.
On Saturday, the country has reported 245 new cases and 251 release.
