Mangaluru: Seer Bhaveshanand from Ramakrishna Ashram in Karwar has voiced support for the Advocate Devadutt Kamat, which faces an online hatred campaign to represent three Muslim girls from Kundapur’s Bhandarkar College in a hijab case in Karnataka HC.
Social media users accuse KAmat trying to legitimize a website that spreads hatred towards non-Muslims and is openly demanding violence against non-believers.
Kamaty quoted from the website during his argument in court.
Online users also claim Muslim fundamental forces are increasing in coastal areas and kamat playing “dangerous games” by supporting girls, allegedly provoked by this radical forces.
Kamat has also been targeted to be suspected of comparing the hijab for ‘name’ (Vermilion was smeared after Sandhya Vandana).
In an open letter, Swami Bhaveshanand reaffirmed that the debate about the dress code of Muslim girls in schools / colleges was “no need”.
“Some elements are trying brands as supporting the causes of Hinduism,” Seer said.
“This perception is really inappropriate for and unfounded.
