K’taka SEES12 new omicron case, calculation rises to 31

Bengaluru: Karnataka on Thursday reported 12 new cases of Omicron variants from Novel Coronavirus, taking their counting in the 31st State, said Karnataka Health Minister Dr K Sudhakar.
Seven of them were women, including two nine and 11 years old girls.
“12 new cases of Omicron have been confirmed in Karnataka today take counting up to 31,” said Sudhakar, added, ten came from Bengaluru while each one came from Mysuru and Mangaluru.
Among the cases of Bengaluru, five had a history of traveling to England and each of them came from Denmark and Nigeria.
The other three from Bengaluru did not have a history of travel.
A 27-year-old man from Mangaluru came from Ghana, while the nine-year-old girl from Mysuru had returned from Switzerland.
According to the Ministry of Health officials, they have been isolated and are undergoing treatment.
They added that their health conditions were being monitored.
