K’Taka tends to revive the plan for a high-speed train link to the airport

Bengaluru: The state government tends to revive the high-speed railroad corridor to Kempegowda International Airport (KIA).
Speaking in the inauguration of Metro Kengeri, Chairman of the Bukavaraj Minister Bommai said that the government would provide metro, suburban, and high-speed rail links (HSRL) to KIA.
In 2008, the state government had proposed a high-speed train link from M G Road to Kia who promised to cover 33 km in 25 minutes.
However, this project was put into cold storage due to high cost problems and land acquisition.
