K’Taka: The 100-year-old school was destroyed for Vivekananda Memorial

MySuru: The historic new type of school (NTMS) in Narayana Shastri Road, which was formed to provide education to girls by the Kingdom family of Mysuru a century ago, was destroyed in police protection solutions.
Activists protested the demolition detained until the demolition ended on Tuesday morning.
Security has been increased in place as a precautionary measure.
Ramakrishna Ashram, Mysuru, plans to build a Viveka Memorial on the site to commemorate Swami Vivekananda visit to Mysuru City.

Sudarshan led the agitators against drives demolition which began around midnight and continued for more than two hours.
They said they would continue their protest.
On February 3, the school shifted to the nearby PU College Maharani campus and the site with the building was handed over to Ramakrishna Ashram in accordance with the orders of the state government.
School furniture and other materials are transported by the department amid protests from activists.
