K’Taka: The party shifts focusing on the election of the council to 25 seats

Bengaluru: After Bypolls to Sindgi and Hangal Assembly Constituencies, the focus has shifted to the December election for 25 seats of the legislative council of urban and rural local bodies.
Elections are required as control of 25 sitting members, including the Minister of Srinivas City Social Welfare Welfare Poojary, opposition leader at the SR Patil Council, KC Senior Congress Official KC Kondaiah will expire on January 5, 2022.
The General Election Commission to announce this polling schedule with the end of this month or on The first week of December.
“The selection process must be completed before the end of the tenure of the sitting member.
So therefore, the Election Commission will announce the date,” said Mahalakshmi, Secretary, Legislative Council Karnataka.
Members of Gram Panchayats and urban local bodies such as the city of Panchayat, the city and companies and MPA and parliamentarians are voters in this election.
Every constituency that covers the district will have 7,000 to 8,000 voters.
Kodagu is an exception with only around 1,300 voters.
There are also districts such as diversion, Vijayapura, MySuru and Chamarajanagar who have two seats each.
Although this election is not fought for party symbols, parties take part active because most candidates are members or their supporters.
Many MLCs sit and prospective candidates have begun to campaign by meeting members of GP and ULB.
After the date the poll was announced, this campaign was expected to get momentum.
“I have started a campaign.
I have met a GP member and educates them about their rights and responsibilities,” KC said Kondai.
TP, ZP members to miss the vote of Zilla Zilla members and Taluk Pancayat will not be able to use their franchise in the board selection.
There are no selected representatives in ZP and TPS like now.
The general election for ZPS and polling stations has not been detained even though the term of office of the members sits up almost a year ago.
It was delayed due to environmental restrictions and reservations set by the questionable election commission in the High Court.
Even when HC heard this petition, the state government formed a limitation commission to redruct the limits of ZP and TP environments and the same had been submitted to the court.
It is not yet known whether the absence of members of TP and ZP come in how to hold the Board poll.
An official from the council secretariat said the rules allowed the election to be held if 75 percent of the total voters were ready to vote.
“Because the number of ZPS and TPS in every local body constituency does not cross 200-300, there should be no problem to hold elections,” he added.
