K’taka: -Ve test report now must be for travelers from TN

Bengaluru: After restrictions on the people who arrived from Kerala, the Administration of Chamarajanagar Regency has now made it mandatory for travelers from Tamil Nadu to provide a negative report of Covid-19 which is no more than 72 hours on arrival.
The decision came after new cases rose in neighboring countries.
The rules have been around for weeks now for people who come from Kerala.
Incidentally, travelers from Maharashtra arriving in the state must also complete Covid-19 negative reports.
The negative report rules for travelers from Tamil Nadu will kick from Sunday.
Chamarajanagar District Administration has intensified the playback of people at Punajanur Checkpost, Naal Road near Ardhanipura and CheckPost in Palar in Hanur Taluk on the border of Karnataka-Tamil Nadu.
Tourists who do not submit a Covid-19 negative report on arrival will return.
The rules also apply to vehicle drivers carrying fruits and vegetables and other essential commodities among countries.
However, those who have been fully vaccinated (both doses) are excluded, but they must produce their vaccination certificate on the border to enter.
Also health authority is a thermal screening traveler at checkposts.
In accordance with the direction of the state health authority, the district government has increased the obligations of people who visit tourist attractions, waterfalls and temples, including Malecoatadeshwara hills in Hanur Taluk and Biligiri Ranganathaswamy Hills after rising in case.
Prasadam distribution and bulk food have been stopped at these temples.

People who live in the forest resorts and other resorts run by the State Forest Department must also bring Covid-19 negative reports.
