Bengaluru: The Karnataka government is ready to reopen primary schools in the state, because there is no unwanted incidence in connection with Covid-19 infection reported from all states.
The final decision will be taken at the Technical Expert Committee meeting chaired by the Chairman of the Minister of Bumavaraj Bommai, scheduled to be held on Monday.
The state government reopened school from class 8 to 12 last week.
Because, there is no distribution of Covid in one of the schools, the government is said to be interested in opening elementary schools, namely, grade 1 to 8 in districts that register less than 2 percent of Covid’s participants in consultation with experts.
The government’s move to reopen primary schools has produced debates and concerns among parents as neighboring countries Kerala and Maharashtra continue to record a higher number of cases.
