Kurukshetra: Kurukshetra University (KU) Deputy Chancellor (VC) Prof.
Nath Sachdeva on Tuesday announced the names of six faculty members who won the annual best research award that was recently institutionalized.
Those named to receive the best researchers awards including Prof.
Jitender Sharma from the Biotechnology Department for research at H-Index, Associate Professor Parvin Kumar from the Chemistry Department for research, Assistant Professor Kulvinder Singh from the Computer Science Department for Science Research), Prof.
Manjula Chaudhary from the Department of Tourism and Hotel Management for research in the publication (non-science), Assistant Professor RBS YADAV from the Geophysics Department for Collaboration Research; Associate Professor Pardeep S Chauhan Institute of Integrated and Honors Studies for research in the project (non-science).
Each award brings a cash prize of Rs 21,000 and a certificate.

Nath said, “This is a unique initiative from the University of Kurukshetra to provide a bouquet of incentives for teachers who are superior in every dimension of the research.
