Kumar Nitish for excavation in the Patna City area

Patna: Chief Minister (CM) Nitish Kumar on Friday, reviewing construction work ‘Prakash Punj’ in Guru Ka Bagh in Patna Sahib.
CM also check the construction works of the multi-purpose ‘Prakash Kendra “and” Udyan “(garden) in place of’ Prakash Punjut ‘and inquire about the works in progress of the officials concerned.
“Prakash Punj, which also comprises Prakash Kendra and her garden, was built at a cost of Rs 54 crore to keep the memory of ‘Prakash Parv’ 350th Guru Gobind Singh, who improved here,” Official Department building construction (BCD) told TOI on Friday.

CM also ordered the construction of roads in the outer side of the pool for the convenience of visitors.
Nitish also check Prakash Bhawan built to stay tourists.

He held discussions with experts and top officials of archaeological excavations in the city of Patna and also provide specific instructions to them.
CM also checked the BNR teacher training colleges and a discussion about the proposed archaeological excavations there.
CM said that this place was once called Payatiputra.
“Its history is 2000 years old.
If we get some information through excavation, a large number of tourists will visit this place,” said the CM.
