Srinagar: The Jammu & Kashmir government gave a sanction of almost 3.5 hectares (25 channels) to Shri Amarnathji Temple board in Panthachowk in Srinagar Regency for the construction of the Pilgrimage Office and Pilgrimage (Yatri Niwas) with a rental of 40 years.
The order says that the land will be given to the nominal rental of Rs 10 per canal every year.
“Sanctions with this given to 25 canal land grants are located in the village of Panthachowk, Tehsil Panthachowk, Srinagar District according to the description in Appendix ‘A’ supporting Shri Amarnathji Temple Board (SASB) for office construction and Yatri Niwas on a stale lease for a period of 40 years Since the date of taking ownership of the payment of Rs 10 / – per channel per year without the cost of each premium imposed for the purpose for this purpose given, “said the command.
The order also said that allotment, rent must be regulated under the J & K grantment law, 1960.
The next order said that Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar, will sign a rental agreement on behalf of the government.
In 2008, the Gulam Government of the Prophet-LED-LEDs at J & K had given SASB’s permission to build a concrete line to the Amarnath Cave, which was opposed by PDP.
Hurriyat’s leadership has even moved as an agitation that opposes this decision.

Yatri Niwas is designed to accommodate more than 3,000 pilgrims.

The J & K government, he said, was starting a variety of services, along with infrastructure development to provide an unforgettable experience for millions of people Shri Amarnathi.

Greater Yatri Niwas will soon appear in your Jamm to facilitate a large number of worshipers visiting.
Other Yatri Niwas with the capacity to accommodate 3,200 yatris will come in Chanderkote, on the righteous.
