To harvest Soyabean, workers now demand around RS3,000 to RS3,500.
Until last year the standard rates were in the range of Rs 1500 to 1700, the sources said in the interior.
Farmers say farms in Vidarbha and Marathwada are caused by excessive rain.
“There is a big loss for farmers because of rain.
To avoid further damage to plant farmers wants to resolve the earliest harvest.
It has raised wages,” said Manish Jadhav a farmer from Mahavaon Taluka in Yavatmal.
On the one hand if the rain has damaged soybean plants, on the other hand the output per acre is expected to be more in several bags.

Even the harvesters who supply have increased the level of quoting higher diesel prices.
From Rs 2,000, a hectare, Harvester rent has risen to Rs 2500, said the farmer.
Vallabh Deshmukh, a Director of the Seed-producing Company of the State Government – Mahabeej, said that agricultural workers from neighboring Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh have also reached the Buldhana district for the soothabean harvest.
“This is because of the high demand for agricultural hands.
The wages are almost doubled but the results are expected to be at least at the Buldhana,” he said.
