New Delhi: Employment Scenario in the key 9 sectors registered 29 percent growth during the April-June quarter of financial years compared to the sixth economic survey of 2013-14, a survey released by the Ministry of Manpower showed.
The All-India-Based Labor Survey (AQEE) prepared by the Labor Ministry provides quarterly updates on the work and variables related companies, in organized and unorganized segments.
9 The main sectors include manufacturing, construction, trade, transportation, education, health, accommodation and restaurants, IT / BPO and financial services.
All of these sectors together accounted for 85 percent of the total work in the company with ten workers or more in the 6th economic census.
The following is the main highlight of the survey: Employment Scenarios * Above 9 sectors together employed 3.8 crore workers during the first quarter ended June 30, due to 2.37 Crore reported in the 6th economic census.
This shows a 29 percent increase in work.
* Out of this 29 percent leap, the manufacturing sector consists of the largest part of 41 percent.
* Total work (between three months locking period) dropped from 3,078 crores to 2,848 crores or 24 lakh.
It was slightly more than made during July 2020 and March 2021, making a total job number on April 1 as 3.08 Crore, the main advisor for the Ministry of Manpower and Labor, said D P S Negi.
* The education sector used 22 percent of workers, health recorded 8 percent, while the trade and Ti / BPO sectors involved 7 percent of the total estimated number of workers.
* Compared to the 6th economic census published in 2013-14, the IT / BPPO sector recorded the most impressive growth of 152 percent during Q1.
* Comparing with the same number of the same census as above, employment growth in other sectors is as follows: Health 77 percent, financial services 48 percent, education 39 percent, manufacturing 22 percent, transportation 68 percent 42 percent.
