JAIPUR: A laboratory tech of a hospital hospital and also a sample group worker were detained Wednesday for allegedly charging cash from individuals for running RT-PCR evaluations for Covid-19 from Rajasthan’s Bikaner district, also an Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officer stated. A complaint was received that laboratory technician Ravindra Upadhyay, published in a government hospital at Ganga Shahar of Bikaner, was demanding Rs 800 for receiving coronavirus confirmatory RT-PCR evaluation performed, DGP, ACB, B L Soni stated. Coronavirus evaluations have been conducted free of charge at for-profit colleges in the nation. Soni stated Deepak Gehlot, an sample group employee of a personal laboratory that had been in league with Upadhyay and has been also charging more cash for conducting evaluations privately compared to prescribed authorities speed. Through analysis, ACB officials faked as imagined Covid-19 sufferers to find the RT-PCR evaluation done. Upadhyay and Gehlot were contacted and they needed Rs 1,600 for its evaluations, the ACB said, including both the people were subsequently detained. Soni stated a case was filed against them under divisions of the Prevention of Corruption Act and their homes are being hunted.
