MUMBAI: The NM Joshi Marg police in Mumbai booked a labourer for allegedly pushing a contractor from fourth floor of a building to death.
The victim was rushed to a hospital for treatment where he died.
The cops are hunting for the accused who has been booked for murder.
Police identified the deceased as Shabbir Shaikh (28), a resident of Jija Mata Nagar in Worli.
The incident took place on Tuesday afternoon at Nahar Industrial Premises in Lower Parel.
Police learnt that there was some argument between Shabbir and Saheb Shaikh, over some issue.
Another worker in the industrial premises saw both of them having an altercation on the fourth floor.
Police suspect that during the altercation the Saheb pushed Shabbir from the fourth floor.
Shabbir was allegedly pushed from the fire passage portion of the building.
He fell on a parked tempo on the ground floor.
