New Delhi: The 12th round of the Corps Commander’s conversation between India and China will be held in the Ladakh sector on July 31.
The meeting is scheduled at 10:30 a.m.
“India and China are expected to discuss the release of the HOT Springs and Gogrry Heights regions,” said the news agency reported by Ani.
India and China held 11 rounds of talks at the corps commander level to achieve settings to escape from the Lake Pangong area on April 9.
The two countries have been involved in military deadlock for almost a year but regardless of the most controversial Lake Pangong area after extensive talks at the military and political level.
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and the Minister of External Affairs Jaishankar also separately met with their Chinese colleagues during the SCO Concleve in Moscow in September last year.
The two countries then agreed to refrain from taking further military actions that could increase tensions, with two foreign ministers also approved a five-point diplomatic consensus for release and de-escalation.
The meeting finally caused the release of troops on both sides of Pangong Tso, after several begins, in February this year.
