Lucknow: Limited stock of storing Covid-19 vaccination under the 20,000 mark for second consecutive working days in Lucknow on Monday.
Against the daily vaccination average of 20,904 from July1-9, the total inoculation was 18,761 on Saturday and 19,453 on Monday.
The amount tends to remain low on Tuesday as the health department will carry out covid vaccinations at only 12 district hospitals, three medical education institutes and special camps.
“On Tuesday, the Public Health Care Center / Primary will conduct routine immunization (RI) children, which have been lagging behind because of the pandemic,” said the Immunization Officer of Dr MK Singh.
“The covid vaccine dose is given according to the target set by the State Administration,” he added.
On Monday, drive Covid vaccination was carried out at 67 booths.
Data shows that the dose of 9,725 (first and second) is given to people from 45 years and above.
The amount is almost equal to 9,728 – the first and second dose is put together – given to people in the age group of 18-44 years, frontline workers and health staff.
The clerk said that the available dosage was divided into sufficient quantities for all categories and given to the center.
For the 18-44 year age group, ordering a face slot is allowed according to the availability of vaccines.

However, in the case of those aged 45 years and above, the registration of places for vaccination is also permitted.
