Even though the Kochi Mayor M Anilkumar said the drive was postponed due to lack of syringes, there were no improvement measures taken by it or the Ministry of Health,” said Antony Kureeethra, opposition leader, Kochi Corporation.
“The Mayor of M Anilkumar also said that it was a problem faced by the authorities throughout the country,” Kurethra said.
Meanwhile, the State Health Department official said that the problem would be handled soon.
