Leh: Ladakh administration provides RS 5 Lakh each as Ex-Gratia to Kin of 14 soldiers killed in Snow Leopard’s operation at Galwan Valley along the actual control line (LAC) in the Union region on Thursday.
As many as 20 soldier personnel were killed in the operation while fighting Chinese forces in East Ladakh on June 15.
According to four orders issued by the Ladakh House Department, Kin of 14 soldiers who put their lives against Galwan aggression in Galwan Valley were given RS five lakh each as ex-gratia.
According to the order, the relief was given to the wife of Bikumalla Santhoshi from Col Bikumalla Santosh, Jageshwari Bai mother of Sepoy Ganesh Ram, Minu Kumari, wife of Sepoy Safe Kumar, Baby Devi, wife of Sepoy Kundan Kumar, Mamta people, mother of Sepoy Rajesh people.
Ritee Devi, Havildar Wife Sunil Kumar, Kapra Hansda, Bunda Sepoy Ganesh Hansda, Rumpa Roy, Havaldar’s wife Bipul Roy, and Prakash Kaur, Ms.
Sepoy Gurtej Singh, was given remuneration.
Manju Devi, Bunda Sepoy Jai Kishore Singh, Laxmi Mani Soren, Naib Wife Subordin Nuduram Soren, Malai Pradhan, Ms.
Sepoy Chandrakanta Pradhan, Dharma Devi, Bunda Sepoy Chandan Kumar, and Rehka Singh, Wife Riding Deepak Singh, is also given assistance issued by the Additional Secretary (Department of Houses) Tashi Dolma.
