New Delhi: A 21-year-old student Lady Shri Ram (LSR) has received the Diana award which was dodoved to advance the UN sustainable development goals and empower young Changemaker.
Devanshi Ranjan, a student last year, has worked with NGO Ladli Foundation Trust to help underprivileged children, especially female students, with their studies in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Founded in Diana’s memory, Putri Wales, the award is considered a “highest award” A young child can achieve social actions or humanitarian efforts.
It was given by charity with the same name and had the support of his sons – Duke of Cambridge and Duke of Sussex.
“I found that I would be respected with Diana award in May.
I am very happy but unable to share the news with anyone except my close family until the start of the virtual ceremony on June 28,” said Ranjan.

“My work is centered around Covid-19 pandemic assistance work.
A number of surveys and reports show an increase in the number of drop-out in schools, especially female students, because online education is not affordable for all.
I work with LSGO Ladli Trust and under the ‘Pathanshala program ‘Do workshops and students who are educated from the slums and villages, “he added.
Ranjan during this period taught more than 1,000 children in the slums crossing New Delhi.
He also distributed books, stationery, and other resource material in the semi-urban and rural areas in Delhi-NCR.
