Lakdi Pul Metro work will take 20 days

Pune: Work on Metro Viaduct at Lakdi Pul (Sambhaji Bridge) in Deccan Gymkhana will be completed in 20 days, after the transfer of vehicles in the area will be appointed, the authorities said.
Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited, who carried out the project, said the traffic movement would be stopped only at five nights.
“On other nights, the bridge will open for vehicles; only a small lane that will be used to work.
A plan is being resolved,” Mahametro said.
50 meter-long steel girder is being installed across the bridge – the longest girder in the stretch of the Vanaz Civil Court Metro.
Fabrication and Girder assembly have begun.
“We tried to interfere with as little traffic as possible and plan most of the work at night.
About 7-meter parts of the bridge have been occupied for preliminary work.
The remaining parts are open to traffic on both sides.
Baritricades has been installed on the site,” said a person Official.
