Letter: A big fire broke out in the Zari Manufacturing Unit in Pandesara on Saturday morning.
The fire starts on the second floor of the unit.
Firefighting officials said that the fire of broken plastic gulps, finished goods and other valuables stored on the back of the second floor of the unit.
Workers from the unit said they rushed out of the building after realizing small flames in the storage area at around 6:20 a.m.
Meanwhile, a neighboring unit employee told the fire department after paying attention to the smoke from the second floor.
“When we arrived, the fire and thick smoke had swallowed most of the second floor.
We entered the floor and started the fire department,” said Krishna Mod, fire department firecms Darwaja fire station.
Six officers and other firefighters from four fire extinguisher stations took three hours to fully extinguish the fire.
The source in the fire department said that the owner of the unit suffered from losing Lakh Rupee.
“We have not confirmed the cause of the fire, but the electrical short circuit might have triggered it,” said Mod.
He added that the Zari unit did have fire fighting equipment but it was not enough to control great fire.
