KOCHI: Social networking activists supporting the SaveLakshadweep campaign detected Sunday as a Dark Day with fans changing their profile images to a black pub.
Campaigners utilized hashtags, such as #TogetherWith-Lakshadweep, #RecallAdministrator, #SaveLakshadweep, etc.

protest against the new controversial decisions of this government.
The campaigners had known to get a Twitter storm contrary to the government’s actions from 4pm to 9pm and mass mailing to the President of India.
A lot of Twitter had shifted their profile image into a black picture, studying, May 30-Black Day.
The protests are against the actions of this government, such as a couple of draft regulations which are defined as executed inside the islands.
Meanwhile, the CPI (M) Rajya Sabha MP Elamaram Kareem tweeted the government has advised them to postpone his trip Lakshadweep citing that the outbreak.
“A delegation of CPM MPs of Kerala has chosen to go to Lakshadweep to comprehend the present circumstance.
Now, the ADM advised us to organize the planned trip on a subsequent date looking at that the Covid situation.
They desired to postpone our trip and prevent the world from realizing the ground truth,” Kareem tweeted.
