Lucknow: Lialit Upadhyay, who is part of the Indian team who won a bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics, was appointed at officers about a special task, equivalent to the police rank deputy supervisor at the Uttar Pradesh police on Thursday.
The Chairperson of the Yogi Adityanath Minister previously convinced Upadhyay that he would provide work in the state government.
ACS, home, Banih Kumar Awasthi said that orders had been issued for the same thing.
Awasthi said that for Lalit Kumar, an OSD non-cadre post had been made while outside of PurView from the public service commission in the ‘B’ group, equivalent to DYSP.
Awasthi said that honoring players was the priority of the state government.
Along with respect for players by the state government, they have also begun to post them in government services.
The senior police officer told Tii that Lalite would be the first one to get the OSD post.
“His emolumenya and payscale will be the same as Dysp Rank officers,” said an officer.
