Bhubaneswar: BJP on Monday held a protest against sales cycles, intended to be used under the mo cycle scheme in the city, for dealers’ memo.
Highlighting that hundreds of cycles have landed in it and cut into pieces, the leader of BJP Babu Singh is looking for clarification from Bhubaneswar Smart City Limited (BSCL) and Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation about how a large number of cycles are sold as used.
The BSCL authority said he had decided to suspend the operation of the Hexi cycle owned by Heroes Youno Private Limited for poor service in March.
After the service is suspended, some workers from partners sell cycles as memos.
General BSCL manager Kamaljit Das said they had filed a complaint of the police in this relationship at the Sahid Nagar police station on Saturday.
