Landing for developing software for forest permits proposals

Bhubaneswar: Chief Secretary of the Suresh Chandra Mohapatra on Tuesday directed the Secretary of various departments to take advantage of the latest provisions of the Forestry Law for the implementation of infrastructure projects and critical development.
During a review meeting above video conferencing, the Secretary of the Chief emphasized the development of the full online evidence of software throughout the forest transfer proposal can be handled since when initiation with final sanctions and certificate issues.
The main secretary also directs the Department of Forest and the Environment to circulate a simplified guideline with frequently asked questions (FAQ) and answers among district and field officers from the forest department and users to accelerate approval.
The department was also asked to regulate regular orientation programs forest officers and income and update them about the last position of the law regarding the development of critical socio-economic infrastructure.
About 13 important types of projects can be approved under the latest forest rights law.
These include school construction, pharmacies, stores reasonable prices, electrical and telecommunications lines, tanks, drinking water projects, small irrigation projects, canals, water harvesting structures, clean energy, skills training centers, roads, and forest land centers as far as one hectare can be given by DFO, the official source said.
During the review, it was also stressed to identify the right land for reforestation of compensation as a substitute forest diverted to maintain ecological balance for years.
