A big fire broke out in the Bokaro Sail Sail factory Friday morning can be controlled without a victim, a sailing official said.
The fire broke around 8.40 in the morning, due to a leak in a torpedo with Blast Furnace 2, the Steel Authority said India Ltd.

The official said the hot metal spilled on the track and burned on a morning shift with around 100 contracts and regular workers on duty.
“However, no personnel affected in this incident,” the official said.
The fire tender was immediately pressed into the service and about one and a half hours, the flame was completely watered, he added.
Some of the cables in the cable gallery were influenced by fire, spokesman said adding, normal operation continued in two hours after the incident.
Asked about the estimated losses caused by fire, the official said it was being assessed.
