Last Farewote: Roger Federer Beat Echoes Wimbledon Outs of the Greats

LONDON: Roger Federer admitted that he had not yet decided whether he would return to Wimbledon next year after his surprises with Hubert Hurkacz in the quarter-finals on Wednesday.
The following is how the three big offer offers Farewell to the All England Club.
1) Sampras was the Wimbledon championship seven times but he arrived in London in 2002 has been defeated by a young Federer Roger in the fourth round 12 months earlier.
It was also two years since the title of his last tour.
After opening his campaign with a victory over Martin Lee England, Sampras was sent to court two, the famous ‘Champions grave’ in the UK for the second round clash with George Bastl Switzerland.
Switzerland, ranked 145th in the world, only made the main draw as a lucky loser from the qualification but he pulled one of the biggest shocks in the tournament when he beat Sampras 6-3, 3-6, 3-6, 3-6, 3-6 , 6-4.
It was the earliest loss of 30 years old in Wimbledon in 11 years.
“I’m not the best,” admitted Sampras.
“I won’t end my time here by losing it.
I want to end it in a high tone and so I plan to go back.
As long as I feel like I can win the department and compete, I will continue to win.
Continue to play.” Regardless of the defiance, was the last visit to Sampras to Wimbledon.
He retired later in 2002 but he came out high by winning the US Open in September in his last tournament.
Two old trials were destroyed in 2009.
2) Becker, Wimbledon champions three times, played his last career match in the 1999 tournament.
Ranking 77 in the world, a 31-year-old child reached 16th where he lost straight to the second seed Pat Rafter.
It has been 10 years since the last three titles at the All England Club and 14 since its first as an unknown teenager diving to the left and right in the court center.
When the German star walked away for the last time, he was given an ovasi stand – even the kingdom box stood up to applaud.
“My whole wimbledon career has become an effort to live until 1985 and it has become a big achievement.
What really bothered me was that I got to the seven finals and won only three of them,” Becker said.
“My only regret was that I didn’t play when John McEnroe was around.
But when I came, he would go down.
The best player I beat here is Andre Agassi.
But I would love to defeat Pete Sampras.” 3) Borg won five consecutive Wimbledon titles from 1976-1980, revolutionizing the appeal of sports in the process.
His last visit to the All England Club was in 1981 where he lost the final to John Mcenroe, 12 months after defeating Brash American in the epic final.
Sweden finished his Wimbledon career at the age of only 25 with only four defeats in 55 matches.
Mcenroe admitted that he was stunned when Borg called it stopped even though Sweden would eventually make it back to the tour.
“Bjorn and I played only 14 matches on the tour.
It was very disappointing,” said Mcenroe.
