Kolkata: Schools remain busy at the end of last week before reopening on Tuesday with cleaning activities, sanitization, placement of covid-induced tools in vantage points, recruitment of furniture, positioning cameras and augmenting hybrid equipment connectivity.
Most principals and teaching members and non-teaching staff at school, oversee changes and take a last minute note about what needs to be done.
Some schools, such as DPS Ruby Park, have even painted the entire building and other structures on campus.
Full campus sanitization with cleaning bathrooms, lifts, and even school buses are done in several schools.
Hand sanitiser dispensers are placed in vantage points and additional wash basins installed so that children can be placed through the hand washing regimen as part of their daily routine at school.
Insulation and infircase space is prepared.
Many schools, such as Sushila Birla Girls School, held interactive webinars with parents who told them about the steps taken to keep their children safe at school.
“We held a series of meetings with the teachers we argue about how to oppose children as soon as they were inside, directly from the route they would take to enter the classroom,” said the principal of the school, Koeli Dey.
Some schools such as South City International have binded with external agents that will facilitate hybrid learning.
