Los Llanos de Aridane: The surface of La Palma Spain Island continues to grow as lava from volcanic eruptions flowing to the Atlantic Ocean and hardened when touching water, EU scientists said Thursday.
Copernicus, the Earth Earth Observation Program, said on Thursday that the satellite image showed a D-shaped tongue Molten ride on the west coast of the island which measures 338 hectares (835 hectares) at the end of Wednesday.

There were no victims or injuries that had been reported among La Palma or visitors since the eruption began.
La Palma, home to around 85,000 people, is part of the volcanic Canary Islands, an archipelago from northwest of Africa.
This island is approximately 35 kilometers (22 miles) wide and 20 kilometers (12 miles) wide at the widest point.
