Pune: The airport police on Thursday night registered a case against a 21-year-old legal student because it increased the false alarm having a bomb in his bag when the authorities examined the items in the airport.
Students, currently living in Bhugoon at PAUD Road, should take a flight to Delhi from Lohegaon airport when the incident occurred, the police said.
Senior Police Inspector Bharat Jadhav from the airport police said, “He is a native of Kashmir but his family is currently based in Delhi.
He is pursuing a second year law study at a college in PAUD Road.

An officer at the airport, Samiran Vijay Ambule (20) from Dhanori, filed a complaint in this case with the police.
“The authorities at the airport checked the bag on several occasions after he entered the departure part of the airport.
