New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Monday dismissed a defense of a lawyer who was looking for intervention to direct the center to take action against China for allegedly using Covid-19 as a biological weapon and deliberately spread it throughout the world.
A judicial bench Sanjay Kishan Kulul and MM Sundresh slammed a lawyer, which appeared directly in front of the court, for submitting such a request and said that the purpose of his petition was to get his name published in the newspaper and hoped the media would not obey.
He applicants insisted that many international research blamed China for Covid-19 infection and the case was unfounded but based on the findings.
The bench, however, said that it was not for the court to enter into such problems and it was for the elected government to take any action if needed.
