Thiruvananthapuram: A 38-year-old man on Sunday was lost on the Vamanapuram River near the child under the boundary of the Palode police station while bathing.
Sinoy of Parayil Veedu, Cheruvila in Kallara Village below the border of the Palode station is a missing person.
Police and fire service personnel and rescue have launched their search on the river.
The police said that Sinoy was a lawyer by the profession.
He had left home around 1pm to swim on the river.
His relatives went looking for him when he failed back on time.
They found motorbikes and clothes on the river bank.
After this, the police were told.
The police also said according to his relatives, Sinoy often get used to bathing in the river here with his friends.
But on Sundays, he was reported alone.
