Greater Noida: Lawyer 24 Western Regency will hold a strike on Monday to screw up with an alleged incident of attack on lawyers from GB Nagar.
The incident occurred two days again when the victim, Mahesh Nagar (38), returned home from Noida and was stopped by Phase II police officers.
While the police said that Nagar was very drunk and driving his car in a drunken country, a lawyer said that a sub-inspector was suspected of slapping Nagar repeatedly.
After the incident, the lawyers stated a two-day attack to demand the suspension of the Arvind Singh Sub Inspector.
Manoj Bhati, the President of the Association of Gautam Budh Nagar Bar told TI that Nagar was slapped repeatedly and was confined in locking.
“The lawyer was slapped by the and locked.
If he was drunk, there should be actions against him in the relevant part.
How can they beat someone like this and limit him to lock,” he asked.
Nagar was then released from locking after the Bar Association intervention.
Middle Noida DCP Harish Chander said that the lawyer was drunk and drove under the influence of alcohol.
“When he was stopped, he began behaving badly with sub-inspectors.
He was taken to the police station where he began to threaten and harassed police officers,” he said.
Immediately after the incident, the Association of Bar Nagar GB announced a strike suspension of sub-inspectors.
The meeting of members of the Bar Association took place to discuss this issue on Friday where members opposed the commission system at GB Nagar.
They subsequently demanded from the sthapna Kendriya High Court Sangharsh Samiti that they also support their attacks.
Samiti has been fighting for the establishment of a separate high court bench for the West over the past few years.
On Friday, Samiti also extended his support to the Association of GB Nagar Bar and decided to strike on Monday in all districts.
Samiti Sachin Chaudhary coordinator has said that all the Associations of Bar from 24 Western Regency will do work on Monday.
