Mumbai: The day after the narcotics drug making unit was caught in a farmhouse of a lawyer in Kolhapur, lawyer Rajkumar Rajhuns (39) was arrested from the Maldo on Thursday.
In an attack at the farmhouse, the police have confiscated 38.7kg of raw materials used to make Mephedrone, and manufacturing machines from the total value of Rs 2.35 Crore.
Two servants were arrested.
The first arrest was from Maglin – aka Christina aka Ayesha – which was held with 50GM drugs in Andher recently, the caregiver of the farmhouse, Nikhil Lohar, was arrested from the farmhouse.
Police said that Rajhun produced a profit of at least Rs 12 Lakh by selling one kilo drug.
“The price is Rs 2 Lakh for one kilo, but he sells it anywhere between Rs 12 Lakh and Rs 15 Lakh,” said an officer.
The police have received a list of at least 10 clients from Mumbai, Thane and Pune.
While a car belonging to a lawyer has been confiscated, two others – one of them BMW 5 – has been identified as his property, said anti-narcotics cell officials.
“Rajhun bought materials to produce medication while his caregivers helped in making it,” said Deputy Commissioner of Police Datta Nalawade.
A police team on Thursday searched for the Kolhapur farmhouse and his Andheri office.
Active probe to check whether the legal degree is original.
Rajhuns has claimed to have been, during his legal practice, found some criminals who taught him how to make medicine.
