Lucknow: Tightening Noose on the development of a structure that is not approved in the city, Lucknow development authority on Sunday leveled an apartment under construction after objections from the Indian archaeological survey.
The property is being developed by former MP BSP Dawood Ahmad near the location of the protected ‘residency’.
Previously in March, LDA had destroyed the fifth floor of the property located on the Bank Colony River and claimed that it had approved a map (G + 4) only for the fourth floor structure.
However, the former MP firm has developed the fifth floor.
The entire project was developed at around 3,600 square feet.
However, after breast milk moved to the illegal structure, the court ordered to destroy the structure.
“He was given enough time to undermine a structure that was not approved, but he did not, therefore Lda and the ASI team had to do the job,” said a senior ASI official.
On Saturday night, Abhishek Prakash District Judge, who is the Deputy Chairperson of LDA, has issued new instructions to identify illegal housing colonies, uploading a list on the website and also attaching a similar list at the registry office to remind the buyer of fraud.
