LDF Convener: HC Order is not a setback

T’puram: Secretary of the State for the CPM of a Vijayaraghavan said on Wednesday that the High Court lived on the government’s decision to probe the justice commission against the Directorate of Enforcement was not a setback for the LDF government.
He said the HC command was a temporary stay and the government would explore the legal choice to deal with it.
“The probe against ED was announced by the government based on opinions and legal delibers.
Probe orders were issued when agencies crossed their boundaries.
Central agents, including ED, were misused (with the center) during the election,” he added.
Vijayaraghavan said there was a massive increase in public sentiment towards ED when it hampered the daily activities of the government.
The government formed a judicial probe when rejected opportunities to train the strength given to him by the Constitution.
“The legal problem does not evaporate only because ED managed to get order from HC.
The government can still present the case in front of the court.
Some court orders are accepted thus.
More legal options will be explored in other cases.
This is a natural development.
No need to make controversy, “He said.
