Candidate CPM Klinus Rosario won the poll at Vettucadu Ward with a majority of 1,490 votes.
Nandu Raj P from CPM won a poll at Edakkad Ward at Chirayinzhe Block Panchayat with the majority of 463 votes.
Candidate CPM Malayilkonam Sunil was won with a good majority of 1,630 votes in Ward Pothencode Block Panchayat.
Meanwhile, Congress lost the seat sitting at Ward Ponnamchundu at Vithura Grama Panchayat where CPI S Ravikumar candidate won with a majority of 45 votes.
