New Delhi: Water supply will be affected in areas such as Nizamuddin, South Extension and Kailash larger in South Delhi because of the main leak at Wazirabad water treatment plants.
According to official Delhi Jal Board, repair work has been going on since the afternoon at a water treatment plant but pumping water has been stopped on the Kilkori water lane, which affects the area where water pressure will be low.
Other affected areas are around Ramlila Ground, World Health Organization Buildings near Ito, Lok Naryan Jai Prakash Hospital, Rajghat and a side by side.
