By Megavarshini T Chennai: a cracked roof, slippery floor and leaky wall is what pedestrians are taken on the subway at the Tambaram Sanatorium train station connecting the Tambaram and Chromepet area which is important.
During the rainy season, after every rain spell, the subway will be flooded and changing is not feasible for several days.
“The structure itself is wrong, and is needed complete renovation.
Every year, every season we raise complaints.
But officials fix it for short-term assistance,” said the Balasubramanian from Chitlapakkam.
The subway was opened in 2006, and with the train that runs above, cracks slowly developed and concrete spots began to fall to reinforcement in it.

“Because, the subway is the only choice for the public to take the train and move across, our electrical staff dries water day and night.
