Beirut: The presidency of Lebanon said the new government had formed, breaking the 13-month deadlock that saw the country slid deeper into financial and poverty chaos.
Lebanon has been without a fully empowered government since the late August 420 2020 explosions in Beirut Port, who forced the resignation from the government of Prime Minister Hassan Diab.
Comparative political groups have been locked in disagreement over the make-up of new governance since then, accelerating the country’s economic destruction.
The new government led by the billionaire businessman Najib Mikati was announced Friday by President of President Michel Aoun, who said the decision had been signed.
