Pune: Head of the 34-year-old administration of a Junior College in Pune was arrested on Wednesday after he was suspected of seeking sexual assistance from a 12th grade female student in return to help him get a higher score in the exam, police said.
The defendant was taken to the police station after his face was blackened by the relatives of the 18-year-old student who told him about his parents’ progress.
“The defendant worked as head of administration at a junior college where the girl was studying.
He was suspected of seeking sexual assistance from him by promising him to help improve his sign in the exam,” said Inspector (crime) Vishrambuag computer.
He said the girl made the audio clip defendant who was seeking sexual assistance from him.
“After he told his parents, the relatives approached the man and destroyed him, blackened his face and took him to the police station,” he said.
College staff have been arrested and ordered under the relevant IPC parts, the officer said.
