Leela personally met and asked the Reble candidate to pull their nomination.
One of the three rebels, Lela Devi, pulled his nomination.
However, Godara and Choudhary, thus triggered Cross Voting worries by them to defeat Leela Maderna.
All party leaders sighed relieved when the results were stated at night and Leela was declared winner with all 21 votes, including people from Godara and Choudhary.
