Behind the appearance of celebrity glamor, which is often a big trend, there are a whole lot of hard work and creativity poured by stylists.
Etimes stuck with one stylist like, Leepakshi Ellawadi, who has become the brain behind films like ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ and ‘Saaho’.
He has arranged Amitabh Bachchan, Saif Ali Khan, and many other actors.
At present, Leepakshi is busy working on Akshay Kumar, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Styling Nushratt Bharrucha for ‘RAM Setu’.
In honest conversations with Etimes, Ace Stylists opened about celebrity fashion and Bollywood trends.
quote:
What kind of trend do you need to remember for ‘RAM Setu’? Akshay plays an archaeologist in the film and you can see him with long hair.
He did not play the usual young character; You can see him gray sports.
We want to experiment a little with a look and display a different archaeologist, while also drawing references from real-life archaeologists.
Do you feel a celebrity is a soft target for their fashion choices? This is a two-edged sword.
Because of the penetration they have with mass and class, sometimes their choices work and sometimes they become a boomerang.
Our Billboard celebrities for experiments, fashion icons so, when they use something good and it’s appreciated, they suddenly become.
I think it’s just a part-and-gift from who they are.
There are so many people sitting out there giving their point of view of what you use, so it’s just natural for celebrities to think so much about their image.
One of the Evergreen trends that Bollywood has given us? I would say chiffon sarees! It doesn’t die in the near future.
And a leather jacket, for me.
One of the not impressive fashion trends was set by Bollywood? There are so many (laugh)! Flower shirts, bright shirts, clean panties …
all this I think!
You have worked with so many celebrities.
The most easy actor for style? It will be Mr.
Bachchan! I think he is the coolest person to work with.
He doesn’t really bother about anything.
We collaborated for ‘BBUBDAH …
HOOA TERRA BAAP’ and after that I continued some ads too.
We tried a lot of experimental looks for him and shopped for the brand that he personally used.
I don’t think he was worried about what he was wearing, the focus was mostly on what he did.
Read Alsoranveer Singh called Amitabh Bachchan ‘Cool’ because he shared a throwback picture
Do you feel post-covid, sustainable fashion is the forward way? In a strange way, I am grateful that this phase Covid encourages us all to think a little more.
I used to tell people to recycle and reuse.
This is a stylist job to really keep creating with the same clothes.
And why not be appreciated well? So, in a very good way, this has forced it all to rethink what we do.
I also felt there was too much out there so it had stripped a little a.
Now the event occurs when something big is being announced.
To conclude, who do you think is a Bollywood fashion icon? I would say the Deepika Padukone fashion game was very, very strong.
And I think Sonam comes second for lust to try new things and kind of moving from what is typical.
