Left parties protested the increase in fuel prices

Coimbatore: condemns the increase in fuel prices, members of CPI, CPM, CPML and Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) protest in several parts of the city on Tuesday.
Deputy Deputy Secretary of West N Chandran said the union government must immediately take steps to control the increase in fuel prices.
“The government led by BJP has shown the attitude of the stepmother against Tamil Nadu.
This has supplied only a large number of Covid-19 vaccines into the state.
As a result, there are great shortcomings for vaccines.
We demand center to increase the supply of vaccination,” he added.
Members of the protest also demanded the central government to provide RS 7,500 monetary assistance to poor families for six months and gave permission to the state government to produce vaccines in Chengalpattu.
