Ranchi: CPI (ML) National Secretary General Deepankar Bhattacharya said that even though the country would observe independence day on August 15, people did not have freedom of speech and economic independence.
He spoke to the Sankalp Saptah (Sunday resolution) cover that was shared by the CPI (ML) and the Marxist Coordination Committee at the Loyala School Premises in Ranchi.
Both parties observed Sankalp Saptah from July 21 to July 28.
Bhattacharya said that the unity between the left parties was needed to get rid of the NDA state.
He added that the current state government in Jharkhand had to execute policies that were radically different from the previous BJP LED dispensation.
The two parties have decided to organize daily fast on August 5 to protest the alleged spying pegasus spyware and the efforts reported to disrupt the government of Hemant Soren in Jharkhand.
CPI (ML) State Secretary Janardhan Prasad said, “The protest will oppose the conspiracy of the constitution in Jharkhand and demand a judicial investigation into Pegasus’s problems.” In their political resolution passed at the meeting, the two political parties stated that the central government has shown its insensitivity to victims of Covid-19 by claiming that no one died of lack of oxygen.
The parties say that a program will be held every Sunday to reduce compensation to Covid-19 victims.
The parties say that poor people face unemployment and inflation double attacks that lead to the threat of hunger, death and malnutrition.
Both parties say that not only BJP but also the current state government is not serious about providing work.
They say that a program will be held between August 15 and August 30 to mobilize youth about this problem.
The parties have also decided to include justice problems for the arrival of Swamy Stan in all their public agitation.
Another program called ‘Save Jharkhand from Loot Corporate’ will be staged from August 9 to August 15.
