There was a “ridicule” of the legal requirements before being arrested as mandated by law and SC, said Advisory Entrepreneur Raj Kundra on Thursday before Bombay HC, Report Swati Deshpande.
Kundra and Co-raised Ryan Thorpe have challenged their arrest as illegal in the case of alleged “production and streaming pornographic content”.
In his written statement, the State said the police obeyed the law and had issued a notification below Section 41a (1) CRPC to both, received by Thorpe but “rejected” by Kundra.

Long arguing before justice Ajay Gadkari, he said “assuming, without acknowledging” that Kundrra refused to sign the notification, the legal option before the police “did not shake it” but to approach the judge for permission as a mandate of 41a (4).
Ponda and Advocate Subhash Jadhav also said, “Everywhere in the first or second shipment, the police said that Kundrra or his colleagues tried to destroy or delete any text”.
